Claire Ward, who is the Mayor of East Midlands is developing a long‑term transport plan for the new combined region, and residents are being invited to share their views.

This is a valuable opportunity to help shape how people across Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, Derby and Derbyshire will travel over the next 15 years.

The plan aims to make transport across the region:

• More affordable and reliable
• Better connected across buses, trains, cycling and walking
• Simpler to use, without needing cash for every journey
• More accessible for everyday travel
