Severn Trent Water - Papplewick Lane Linby 

Affected Service - 442 school service 

Dates - From Monday 02nd June 2026 for a period of up to 3 weeks.

Due to emergency water works on Papplewick Lane at the Moor Lane end the road will be closed for up to 3 weeks as a result the following diversion has been put in place to ensure all pupils are picked up and dropped off with minimal disruption

Continue on Moor Road

Turn left at the
cross roads onto Linby Lane

At the roundabout
turn left onto Waterloo Road

Follow all the way
into Hucknall

At the end of the
road turn Left onto Station Road

At the roundabout
turn left onto Paaplewick Lane

Turn left onto Hayden
Lane

Continue on normal
route

The afternoon will
run in the opposite direction on this route

Severn Trent Water - Melbury Road, Bilborough

Affected Service - L4

Dates - From Monday 18th May 2026 for a period of 2 weeks.

Melbury Road will be unpassable in both directions whilst Severn Trent Water undertake emergency works in the area. Service L4 will divert via Bracebridge Drive and Wigman Road in both directions.

Severn Trent Water - Glaisdale Drive West, Bilborough

Expected completion 5th June 2026

Service L4 - Due to Road closure on Glaisdale Drive West between 09:30 -15:30 also part of Severn Trent works services will divert via Wigman Road and Bracebridge Drive in both directions. 

Roadworks - Piccadilly/Brooklyn Road 

Dates Wednesday 27th May 2026 - TBC 

Service L14 - Due to unexpected roadworks on the corner of Piccadilly and Brooklyn Road in Highbury Vale it is not safe for us to use Piccadilly. Our services will divert via Kersall Drive, which does mean we will not be able to serve the stop Brooklyn Road/Piccadilly.

Leicestershire County Council - Zouch Bridge Works

Affected Service - 66

Dates - Monday 2nd March 2026  until Monday 6th July 2026

Zouch Bridge will be closed to all traffic from Monday 2nd March until Monday 6th July. During this time, Service 66 will commence from Orchard Close Sutton Bonington, Kegworth, Hathern and into Loughborough.
