Emergency Roadworks - Sandiacre

Dates - Wednesday 17th December until Tuesday 30th December 2025

To Emergency Roadworks on Hayworth Road, Access to Hayworth Road will not be
Possible from the 17th December to the 30 December. Any prospective customers,
please make your way to any of the bus stops along the diversion route.

This
service will carry on along Longmoor Lane up to the junction where it will turn
left onto Derby Road  then right at King Edward Street then left onto
Victoria Rd and left on to Bennet Street  and a final left onto Derby Road
at White Lion.

Resurfacing Works - Stapleford

Affected Services - 18

Dates - Monday 8th until Friday 19th December (Weeknights Only)

VIA East Midlands are undertaking resurfacing works in Stapleford from Monday 8th until Friday 19th December. These works will take place overnight Monday to Friday only between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00.  

The closure is between Ewe Lamb Lane and the junction of Nottingham Road and The Chequers Inn - Both Directions.

The 19:35 ex Nottingham to Stapleford service which is due at Bembridge Court at 20:17 will therefore divert via Ewe Lamb Lane.

All stops between The Severals and Ewe Lamb Lane will not be served.

With the road due to re-open at 06:00, the 05:48 ex Stapleford to Nottingham service which is due at Chequers Inn for 05:56 will wait time at the Arthur Mee Centre until 06:00. This will result in a small delay to service on the first journey of the day only.

A52 Resurfacing Works - QMC Island to Priory Island

Affected Services - 18, 18a, 18b, 18x, 20, L2

Dates - June 2025 (for 12 months)

Update - National Highways have advised that during December 2025, works will be suspended and this section of route will be re-opened in both directions. Further information relating to works taking place in January will be provided in due course.

National Highways are undertaking a full resurfacing project in relation to Derby Road between the QMC Roundabout and Priory Island.

This work will be undertaken in two phases:

Phase One - Closure of Outbound A52

Phase Two - Closure of Inbound A52

These works will see the road surface replaced in its entirety and new cycle lanes introduced.

Delays are expected, especially at peak times/
