SEGRO Gateway Shuttle

CT4N are extremely proud of the working partnership we have with SEGRO which is located at SEGRO Logistics Park East Midlands Gateway.

The service which operates every 10 minutes between 05:00 and 23:00 7 days a week, provides a link around the 700 acre development for employees who are arriving at the Bus Interchange on the skylink services between Derby, Leicester, and Nottingham.

Our new buses are provided with extra features including:

• Double Glazed Windows
• Extra leg room between seats
• Moquette seating which incorporates the SEGRO corporate branding
• Wooden effect flooring
• Mobile phone chargers located at all seats
• Fully accessible with space for wheelchairs
• Improved mileage range - Up to 275 miles on a single charge
• Regenerative braking technology
  

These buses also differ from the previous electric buses which were used on the Gateway Service and are zero-emission, as they have no engines on board the vehicle. The heaters are fully electric.

Mileage is also reduced further by basing the buses at SEGRO Logistics Park where a charger is located so that the buses can be charged every evening when the service has finished at the end of the day.

These new buses will provide excellent service for years to come and represent the next stage in bus travel.
