Maid Marian Way Disruption

3 months ago Wed 9th Oct 2024

Now that the roadworks have moved along we have now been notified that the next phase involves the closure of the inbound service 18, 18a, 18b & 18x stop at Tollhouse Hill. This will start from Monday the 6th January 2025 until the completion of the road works.

As a result of the closure, the next available stop will be on Maid Marian way's M1 stop situated outside the lighting shop.

CT4N would like to take this opportunity to apologise to all customers for the delays they have been experiencing due the roadworks at Maid Marian Way.

The junction of Upper Parliament Street and Maid Marian Way was changed to a T Junction over the last few days, however this has only made matters worse and delays have been experienced of up to 45 minutes with buses trying to enter/exit the City Centre.

The changes that have been made at this junction are out of our control and alongside our operating partners at Nottingham City Transport and Trent Barton as the Greater Nottingham Bus Partnership, we are in contact with Nottingham City Council in the hope that these matters can be resolved quickly.

At this time, we ask for your patience and understanding and our driving teams will get to you as soon as they can to minimise delays to your journey.

If you wish to make any comments regarding the works undertaken, then please contact the Transport Nottingham website via this link https://www.transportnottingham.com/contact-us/

Thank you
