£3 Bus Fare Cap Scheme 2025

From the 1st January 2025, the National Bus Fare Cap will be increased to £3 per journey.
Given that the majority of our services operate within the Greater Nottingham area, CT4N will charge no more than £3 per journey, which would have been the fare charged had the Bus Fare Cap Scheme not been in place.
Services operating outside of the Greater Nottingham area which include (18/18x in Stapleford, 29 in Long Eaton, New Sawley & Sandiacre, 66 in Sutton Bonington and Loughborough, 300 between Lowdham and Newark) - These fares will also be charged at £3 per journey.
Local Fares (within one fare stage)
Please refer to the individual fare charts on our timetable pages, however these will be capped at a maximum of £2 per journey.
Weekly & Season Tickets (Services 18, 19, 20)
These will increase on average by £1 per week given that these prices have been frozen during the £2 Help for Household scheme.
Under 19 Fares
No changes to the current fares charged.
Student and Under 22 Fares
These groups of fares will increase to £2.30 per journey.
Linkbus Day Tickets (Services L2, L4, L14, Medilink 1 & 2)
Linkbus Day Ticket will increase to £5.50, offering a 50p discount on the price of two single journeys.
Linkbus Group Ticket (up to 5 people) will increase to £7.00 offering unlimited travel for the day on services L2, L4, L14 and Medilink 1 & 2)
Nottingham Contactless
There will be no changes to the single or multi operator day cap.
Robin Hood Fares & Tickets
There will be no changes to the single or multi operator day cap.
